Information in your enquiry

Our existing Google Form requests your name, email, phone number, service address and project details. Information you send by email or phone also forms part of your enquiry. We use these details to respond, prepare estimates and coordinate requested work. Submit only information relevant to your project. Do not send payment-card details, passwords or sensitive account information through the form.

Hosting, fonts and external links

GitHub Pages hosts this website. Google supplies the fonts and the external quote form. Loading these services involves technical requests, including your IP address, browser information and the resource requested. Their processing, storage locations and retention follow their own policies. Service providers process information in Canada and other countries, depending on their infrastructure.

Our Facebook and Google Form links open external websites. This website's analytics choice does not control the privacy settings or cookies on those separate services.

Optional analytics and browser storage

Google Analytics is available on this website but stays off until you choose Accept analytics. Rejecting analytics does not prevent browsing, calling us or requesting an estimate. Use Privacy settings in the footer to review or change your choice.

Optional analytics does not run before you give permission.

With your permission, Google Analytics measures service-page visits, engagement and taps on quote, phone and email links. We also measure referring websites and labelled marketing campaigns to understand how visitors find us. The submission handler reads only the optional Quote reference field for analytics. We do not send your name, email address, phone number, service address or project description to Google Analytics. Page addresses exclude query strings and fragments. We pass only the referring website's origin, without its page path or search terms, and validated UTM marketing labels where present. Enabled Google Analytics features also measure scrolls, supported video interactions and file downloads. Google processes technical data and analytics identifiers under its own policies. We do not enable advertising personalization or Google Signals in this integration.

After you accept analytics, a quote link adds an optional reference containing your Google Analytics browser and session identifiers. The reference connects a submitted quote request to your website visit and appears in your form response record. These identifiers are pseudonymous, not anonymous. Direct submissions, blank references and expired references stay in our enquiry records without a completed-quote analytics event. References expire after 24 hours. You may clear the Quote reference field before submitting to keep that submission out of Analytics. If you withdraw permission after opening the form, clear the reference in the already-open form as well. Our handler keeps submission fingerprints for up to 30 days to prevent duplicate attempts.

We store an analytics choice in your browser for up to 180 days. After acceptance, analytics cookies distinguish visits and measure engagement. You withdraw permission through Privacy settings. Withdrawal stops this site's optional tracking and clears accessible Google Analytics cookies on this domain, but does not remove data already sent to Google. Clearing browser storage or using another device prompts a new choice when analytics is active.

Enquiry records and your choices

Project communications and records stay separate from website analytics. Contact us to ask what enquiry information we hold, request a correction or request deletion. We review your request and explain records needed for ongoing work, accounting, insurance or other applicable requirements. Do not include sensitive documents in your initial privacy request.

We update this notice when the website's information practices change. The date above identifies this version. Our website terms explain the difference between an enquiry and an accepted project agreement.
